FLORIANÓPOLIS ACCESSIBLE
With more than 40 beaches (many of them accessible), options of tours and activities for all ages and a very good structure, Florianópolis is a destination that is on the top of mind of Brazilian and foreign tourists. The magical island, as it is also known, is a perfect destination for those who like to relax at the sea and the beach.
Florianópolis is divided into two parts: one is the island of Santa Catarina, and the other is located on the mainland. The two are linked by the beautiful Hercílio Luz Bridge, one of the main postcards of the city. The island has from north to south an extension of around 54 kilometers and has beaches for all tastes.
In the north of the island are the beaches with warm and calm waters, in the south the beaches with clearer and more crystalline waters, but also a little bit colder, and in the east, that is to say the ocean front, are the beaches more suitable for those who like waves.
Florianópolis is also a highly recommended destination due to its excellent conditions for learning or practicing adapted surfing (see experiences section of the site).
The strong influence of the Portuguese colonizers and of the Azores is perceived in the architecture, in the gastronomy and in the cultural and religious manifestations of Floripa, a loving way that the inhabitants refer to the city.
The Laguna de la Concepción, 15 km long, is one of the most traditional places in the city and is perfect spot for nautical activities.
Adapted and accessible beaches, ecological tours, lessons to learn to surf, nautical activities in the lagoon, adapted fishing are some of the options that await you for your next trip to Florianópolis.
