Located 130 km from São Paulo and 120 km from Campinas, the city of Socorro, a national and international reference in accessibility, is a perfect destination for lovers of ecotourism and adventure travel.

Crossed by the Río do Peixe, and between mountains, the city is part of the  Mantiqueira montain range, and in its quiet streets, it combines modernity and history with old mansions from the 19th and 20th centuries.

When is the best time to visit Socorro?

Socorro is a destination that can be visited all year round, as it has pleasant temperatures 365 days a year.

Between December and April, visit is recommended for the practice of rafting, as during these months the rains are more abundant and, therefore, the river has more water.
