This Africa safari is a program that was designed to offer a total safari experience on the Northern Tanzania, taking into account travel time for more wildlife viewing. This 8-day Tanzania wildlife safari specifically includes a visit to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and Serengeti National Park.

Tarangire National Park has one of the highest concentrations of species in Tanzania, second only to the Ngorongoro Crater, with incredible wild beauty. This park is known as the home of the male elephant and other animals such as wildebeest, zebras, elanders, gazelles, buffalo.

We will also visit Lake Manyara National Park, one of the areas with the highest concentration of wildlife, a fascinating experience to feel truly integrated with nature composed of a shallow and huge lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. This region full of wild animals and encompassing different ecosystems is undoubtedly a spectacular destination for you to take the acclaimed safari in Africa. The size of the park makes it perfect for a day of safari and meeting the famous lions that climb the trees, composing a true spectacle of nature.

This safari will also take you to the Serengeti National Park, a huge 14,500 square kilometer wilderness area, where every day you have a new landscape and a new adventure. We will visit the Ngorongoro Crater and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania, with one of the highest concentrations and possibly the most dense population of predators and carnivores in Africa. Here you will witness an incredible spectacle of Tanzanian wildlife in a world full of animals.

About the destiny

Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Arusha city. (45 minutes). Check in at the hotel and presentations and instructions on Safari before dinner that will be served at the hotel (dinner included).

Day 2

We start the day with a delicious breakfast and set out on the safari. First, we will stop for any last minute purchases and head towards Tarangire National Park for a safari with a picnic included in the park. Tarangire is known for its huge population of elephants and baobabs. It forms the center of an annual migration cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. In the Tarangire National Park, in the north of Tanzania, you can enjoy the best bird watching. The low-lying baobab-covered plains and feverish groves here are home to many legal species, including three endemics, in total there are more than 550 species of birds found in the park, including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufus tail weaver. The lush region is full of land birds such as the northern white-bellied bustard, red-necked francolinas, and yellow-necked francolinas and many others. After a full day of safari, we return to the Lodge located near the Ngorogoro Park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After a delicious breakfast, the tour will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers stunning views and a wide variety of habitats. Acacias, water forests, baobab-covered cliffs, hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. Due to its ecosystem, the small park is capable of hosting a large number of animal species and an incredible birdlife. Manyara has the highest concentration of baboons in the world, they also include buffalo, wildebeest, elephants, zebras, antelope, impala and the lions that are famous for their tree-climbing antics.

Lake Manyara National Park has more than 300 species of birds, including migratory birds from Eurasia, birds associated with acacia, raptors, and 3 endangered species from Tanzania: red-tailed weaver, gray starling, and black tailed bird. After a long walk, we return to the Lodge located near Ngorogoro Park for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast, departure to the Serengeti National Park, passing the beautiful Karatu Farm and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. We will visit the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, with the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source for this area and therefore attracts life wild that is representative of most of the Serengeti species. After lunch we continue with the afternoon safari in the Serengeti National Park. Early in the evening, we will drive to the lodge in the Serengeti area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

After breakfast, optional morning hot air balloon safari in the western corridor of Serengeti Park. (Optional tour with additional cost).

On this day we will have a full day safari in the center of the Serengeti National Park. In addition to large mammals, the Serengeti is also home to striking lizards, large varieties of dung beetles, and around 500 species of birds, from ostriches to black eagles that soar effortlessly over the Lobo Hills. During the afternoon, after a full day of safari, we return to the Lodge in the Serengeti area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will have a morning safari in Serengeti Park and after the tour, departure to Ngorongoro Preservation Area. We will make a stop at one of the Maasai Boma, where we will learn about the Maasai culture, an incredible opportunity to interact with the rich culture of this region. In the late afternoon, we head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where we will stay at the Lodge located within the Ngorongoro Park. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7

After breakfast, we leave with the hotel picnic lunch to begin our descent of more than 600 meters into the crater to see the wildlife. Supported by a year-round supply of water and forage, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, wild boar, hippopotamus and giant African elephants. Another major draw to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to locate. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large alkaline lake, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can generally be seen here. In the late afternoon, after an intense day, we will return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Breakfast served in the hotel restaurant. At the indicated time, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
