Some examples are the project beach for all that although it does not work all year round, provide accessibility for people who want to enjoy the beach and the sea with accessibility and comfort. Another example is the adapted trails in the Tijuca forest as well as museums and the main touristics points of the city.

Mots of the city sidewalks are made of small cobblestones that, although wheelchair users can go through it, is not the most comfortable, also, they are not flat in several cases and with defective ramps. For people with visual impairment, the city does not have adapted traffic lights and adapted paths are not throughout the city.

In any case, that does not prevent people with disabilities from taking advantage of, enjoying and knowing this wonderful city since we indicate the best ways to move within the city with autonomy and safety.
