Day 1

Arrival in the city of Montevideo. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting with a sign with your name at the disembark area. During the transfer our guide will make an introduction of the city, give recommendations and tips of the city, restaurants and everything you need to enjoy the best way your trip. Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. On this day we will discover the charms of the capital starting with the picturesque Old City, which has a rich historical heritage. We will know among others: the Plaza de la Constitución, the Cathedral, the Cabildo and the Mercado del Puerto, icon of local cuisine. We will visit the Plaza Independencia,  appreciate the Citadel Gate (entrance to the city in the colonial era), the seat of the Legislative Power, the Salvo Palace, the monument to the hero José Gervasio Artigas and the Museum of the Presidencies. We will make a guided visit to the Solís Theater, the most important and of greater architectural value in the city. It was inaugurated for the first time in 1856, witness of the history and fundamental in the construction of the cultural identity of Uruguay.

We will take a break at the Typical Facal Bar, to taste the famous “Uruguayan Chivito” (beef sandwich, egg, ham, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise) accompanied with potatoes and, for dessert, artisanal ice cream of dulce de leche.

After lunch, we will meet the Legislative Palace (Parliament) with an imposing marble structure that makes it one of the most beautiful parliaments in the world and the Agricultural Market where we can learn about typical Uruguayan products.

We will also see Batlle Park and visit the Football Museum at the Centennial Stadium, where the first FIFA World Cup organized by FIFA was played. Back to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3

Breakfast served in the hotel restaurant. We will head north for a visit followed by tasting and lunch (optional) in the fascinating world of wine. We will know from the elaboration process to the basic principles of a wine tasting, enjoying a natural and welcoming environment. The tasting can be 3, 5 or 7 labels and is guided by a wine professional.
